The domesticated canary thinks its living the good life. it gets fed everyday, has the choice of hopping from one fake branch to another and is entertained by a mirror and bell. It feels lucky when its owner allows it to flutter around inside the home but it must return to its cage.
Then it sees an eagle outside the window and thought how uncivilized to catch your own food, soar through open air and build a nest where ever you want.
The caged/domesticated being is unable to realize its own enslavement and the finite mind can not conceive the infinite.
